BEATS PER MINUTE is an undergraduate thesis film from filmmakers at Cal State Northdridge.  The 7-minute short stars ‘Salah’ one of the most famous street dancers in the world.  Don’t believe us?  Just ‘YouTube’ SALAH and discover hundreds of videos that have been viewed millions of times, in 2006 he won France’s hit talent show Incroyable Talent for his ability to utterly entertain an entire country!

The film is about a French street dancer who overcomes his fears, confronts his past and discovers that his incredible talents can actually rewind time!

Driven by its upbeat rhythms, and partially financed by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association with grants from Panivision, Kodak and many others, director Andrea Ball --an avid dance performer herself-- and her production team headed by Darren Brandl created a fun, inspiring, story which will have you dancing out of your seat before the credits roll.
